Edward F. Boze

Mr. Boze founded Boze Capital, Inc. in March of 2003 to provide financial advisory and consulting services to the affordable housing and economic development industries. He serves his clients with 40 years of innovation and success in real estate finance. He spent 20 years as an investment banker before becoming a financial advisor. During his career he has personally closed over $10 billion in tax-exempt multi-family housing bond transactions. His expertise includes creative financing through a variety of bond instruments, including taxable, tax-exempt, credit enhanced, and privately placed securities. He has worked extensively with tax-credit equity and other structured finance transactions for affordable housing which serves his clients' financial needs and priorities. He has also served as an advisor to governments and non-profits.

Mr. Boze is known for his ability to structure innovative financing strategies, developed over his two decade investment banking career with GMACCH Capital Markets (Newman & Associates), Stephens, Inc., and Lehman Brothers (EF Hutton). From 1972 to 1983, Mr. Boze orchestrated construction lending, loan workouts, apartment acquisitions, and served as an asset manager for 22 million square feet of office, retail, and industrial properties. His experience in the real estate and financial markets supports his ability to provide solutions for the individual needs of his clients in the affordable housing market.

Mr. Boze has an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida.



Melissa D. Bing

Ms. Bing was promoted to Office Manager at Boze Capital in the fall of 2003. Her industry experience provides operation support for the firm's client services. She has worked with Mr. Boze over the past sixteen years as his Administrative Assistant at Boze Capital, Inc., Newman & Associates, a subsidiary of GMAC, and Stephens, Inc. She began her career in 1988 with Merrill Lynch in New York. She later worked for Lehman Brothers before relocating to Atlanta. Her entire professional career has been in investment banking and affordable housing.

Ms. Bing received an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Accounting at the DeKalb Technical College in Clarkston, Georgia.



Scott H. Boze

Mr. Boze serves as a strategic advisor to the staff, clients, and partners of Boze Capital. He served as Vice President of the company from 2005-2010. Before this time, Mr. Boze was consultant with Bain & Company, a global strategy consulting firm. He currently works for The Coca-Cola Company as a Director of Strategic Initiatives. He remains active with several affordable developers and Boze Capital clients. He continues to serve on Boze Capital's Board of Directors.

Mr. Boze combines deep knowledge of affordable finance with a macro-economic view of the local and global economy and serves as an advisor to Edward Boze on all aspects of Boze Capital's business.

Mr. Boze holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and was a Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
